Welcome to the Tri Cities!
Here you’ll find an array of wonderful things to do, and great schools for your children. When the rest of the economy is collapsing, our’s is booming. Our industrial district brings in new jobs, and we can boast a thriving nightlife.
Yes, the Tri-Cities is a wonderful place.
Don’t mind the occasional werewolf they are well behaved for the most part, and the vampires bring new innovative ideas to the business table. Not comfortable? most are respectful of signs on the doors not permitting them to enter.
With the rumors of some few people who are said to be able to raise the dead, and the Walla Walla Fae Reservation a mere 40 miles away, who can ask for a better tourist season?
No place on earth is safer or more exciting than the Tri-Cities!
- no word count, only quality matters

Always, always, ALWAYS check your facts. It doesn’t have to be perfectly exact, and magic is always an exception, but it’s no good doing something that’s chronologically, geographically or scientifically inaccurate for that time, place or character.
Wikipedia is good for a quick fix, but always double check it if you’re serious about writing, use maps, encyclopaedias, etc.
Research is also important for speech.
If your character is a scientist, they’ll use science jargon! If they’re from anywhere in the world, they’ll have an accent and use slang from that area of the world! If they’re from a foreign country and speak a foreign language, then they’ll drift into it when muttering to themselves or speaking to other users of that language!
Don’t just drift off into laziness and think ‘ah, screw it, nobody will notice’, I remind you of every time you’ve read, watched or listened to something that’s got something you know about wrong.
The Writers Helpers.

In the world of roleplay, it should be well-known that the more well-developed your character is, the more fun it is to come up with plots. Your characters are one of the most powerful driving forces to the roleplay world.
Unfortunately, and I hate to be an ass by saying this, there too many underdeveloped characters who lack many things.
Characters should be three-dimensional people. One of the people that I follow on my semi-personal account has a quote from Ernest Hemmingway that says, “When writing a novel a writer should create living people; people not characters. A character is a caricature.” Too many times have I see caricatures roaming around the roleplay world.
I know character development is a broad topic to tackle, but I might just be the guy ready to tackle this topic. This post is going to be jam packed with everything I know about developing characters and how to apply it. It may not work for everyone, but who knows, maybe it’ll work for you.

Okay, you’re sitting there with the best idea ever and you know all the traits you want in a character then you’re left with the daunting task of picking the face claim.
- Take a moment and write a physical description of each character. Maybe, for the slut you want a blonde bombshell or a black…

Iron Kissed is a non canon site, loosely based off of the Anita Blake & Mercy Thompson book series.
TO CLARIFY! This site is NOT based off the comics! There are slight differences between the comics and books, and if you’ve only read the graphic novels, you might be missing things that are major. If something doesn’t sound like the comics, it’s probably because we’re not based off of them.
Things are a little hairy around the Tri-Cities. Once upon a time, it was a quite place, where the humans lived in complete unaware of the monsters that lurked in the shadows. Occasionally, someone would go missing, or a neighbor would vanish around a full moon, then come back the next day looking a little worse for wear, but nothing was out of the ordinary.
Then, back in 2007, a simple gardener was put on trial for the murder of his employer. The world was shocked as he exposed himself as a fairy, and couldn’t touch the iron sheers that was used on the victim. The world was introduced to the fae, and things started to change.
The Fae, a dying race, knew that if they didn’t bring themselves to light, they could very well vanish in this growing universe of iron and technology. Lesser fae were forced to expose themselves to help the human fae relations, and in turn, the humans began building reservations for them in little populated areas.
There is a sort of tension, though. Many humans had a hard time accepting the fae, and it didn’t die down until, in 2009, the werewolves decided that it would be benificial for their race as well to be introduced to the world. It was getting harder and harder to hide what they were, so the Marrok, Alpha of Alphas, told all pack members who were soldiers and law enforcement to come out humanity’s watch dogs.
It was a rough transition, but the wolves were able to keep their more violent nature in the dark, and people warmed up to them quite quickly.
Ah, but peace cannot last forever.
The vamipres, feeling the pressure, hating the fact that wolves were being praised for their acts of valor, and their animal sides being hid, came out with much more flair six months ago.
They began opening night clubs, offering people eternal life and brought hunters out as well, forcing them to become law enforcement. They are very open about their dark history of slaughtering most Walkers, and keep Witches as pets. A
All of the commotion has sent business booming for animators, already wealthy from their benifactors. Now they are commissioned from the government as well, although most of them, if not all, are still keeping their abilities from the normal world.
The humans are now in a sea of outed monsters that had once lived in fairy tales, and are having to adjust while trying to ignore the fact that they are no longer the top rung of the food chain.
The Tri-Cities is home to one of the largest fae reservation in the United States, and each species head is tryng to keep ballence without ripping each other’s head off.
Best of luck of you who choose to live here. It’s a dangerous place to be.
